IG (Infragistics) just released an update for our acclaimed Quince, which is both a free public UI/UX patterns library as well as a professional design review/private library tool. (Yes, I know, very modest.
) Anyways, the most notable feature is a new theming infrastructure that makes it possible for companies to brand Quince to fit better into their environment.
In addition to adding this new capability, we made a new, light theme (the IG Theme) that anyone can choose to use for free. Just go to Customize Account and choose the IG Theme as shown below.

As we added this capability, we made a few other tweaks that we hope you’ll like. First, we updated the top menu to be thinner and redesigned for simplicity; we did this both to maximize usable application space as well as make it feel a bit more standard as far as menus go.

And we also did something similar for the design library home:

Of course, we snuck a few other nifty surprises in there that (e.g., dramatically better new item notifications emails), while small in themselves, should add up to a better overall experience with Quince. And it may just be me, but it seems a little bit peppier all around now.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I know I will!
